Chillagoe State School is a small, rural school situated on the edge of the Atherton Tablelands in sub-tropical Far North Queensland.

Our school has a lively and friendly environment in which students are offered rich learning experiences throughout all key learning areas. Our classrooms are equipped with a variety of quality resources and technologies which are utilised to enhance the educational outcomes of the students.

We pride ourselves on providing students with a comprehensive music program at Chillagoe State School, in which students have the opportunity to learn a variety of musical instruments and skills. Students also have the chance to build confidence and further develop their musical skills through several annual public performances.
