We implement the Australian Curriculum utilising the Curriculum into the Classroom (C2C) resource for its delivery.
Students participate in Literacy and Numeracy Blocks which are an intensive teaching period for literacy and numeracy Monday to Thursday. Science, Health / Physical Education and music are delivered in individual weekly blocks. Each Friday, we deliver an integrated approach to Humanities and Social Sciences, Technology and The Arts (visual). Information and Communication Technology is embedded into all of our key learning areas.
For students in year 5 and year 6, we offer Japanese (Language Other Than English) through an interactive online Cairns School of Distance Education program.
